gps navigation

Last night as my husband and I were clearing the dinner dishes, we heard a knock at the door. Neither one of us was expecting anyone, so we figured it was maybe one of the neighborhood kids selling cookies or candy for school. When we opened the door, we were surprised to see my brother and his wife, who had just arrived from out of town to surprise us.

I had sent an email to my brother about a week before mentioning that I was having a difficult time adjusting to our new home. We had moved several hours away when my husband received a job offer that he couldn't refuse, and I hadn't been able to meet any new people, and being a people person, I was struggling. I wondered how my brother found us, since he'd never been here, but he pulled out his GPS navigation system and smiled. I'd forgotten that he'd mentioned that they'd finally got a GPS navigation system this past year for Christmas, and that they were excited about it, because they knew the GPS navigation would make it much easier to travel and not get lost. Obviously that was the case, because there they were, standing on our doorstep.

We invited them in, obviously and my first question was how long were they staying. They both said they thought they would stay about a week, and then the GPS navigation was taking them further west to check out some locations for a cross-country trip that my brother is planning later in this year with his friends. They're taking their GPS navigation systems and are going to attempt to go from one side of the United States to the other within a certain period of time, and right now my brother is trying to map out where they want to go each day by using the GPS navigation. I was so thrilled to see them that I forgot to offer them anything to drink, but once we settled in and started talking, my husband asked where they had bought the GPS navigation, because he'd been thinking it was time for us to buy one. He told my husband that they found a great deal on the GPS navigation at Value Smart Mart whose online store can be found by visiting www.valuesmartmart.com/, and suggested that we try looking at the same place when we decided to buy our GPS navigation as well. All I knew is that I was happy to see my brother, and I was thankful that the GPS navigation led him to us.
