Glad We Had a GPS Navigation System to Loan Her |

This morning when I got up and checked my email, I saw that I had one from my best friend. Since she rarely emails me, I knew something must be up so I checked to see what she had to say. She said she knew I'd been sick and didn't want to call on the off chance that I was sleeping late, and wanted to me to call her as soon as I got up. She needed to borrow my GPS navigation system today and needed to know as soon as possible, so if I didn't mind her borrowing the GPS navigation she could come pick it up.
As soon as I read the email, I went to the cabinet where we keep the GPS navigation when we aren't using it, and pulled it out. I plugged in the GPS navigation so that when my best friend picked it up the charge would be full and she wouldn't have to worry about the battery running down. Once all that was done, I picked up the phone and called her to find out what the big rush was with borrowing the GPS navigation today.
Once I had her on the phone, she proceeded to tell me that she found out last night that she and one of her daughters were going to have to make a road trip to one of the universities her daughter had applied at because they wanted to meet with her as soon as possible. She figured that using the GPS navigation would be much easier than attempting to pull out a map or try to get around, and since she didn't have time to order one, she wanted to use ours. We've only had the GPS navigation system about six months and I don't know how we ever lived without it. I found the GPS navigation at Value Smart Mart whose online store can be found by visiting www.valuesmartmart.com for a great price and couldn't resist buying it. We've used it almost daily since it arrived.
Once my best friend found out that she could borrow the GPS navigation she said she would be on her way over. I asked if she'd even taken the time to eat this morning and she said she'd been so busy that she'd forgotten. I told her I'd have the coffee ready when she arrived, along with a bowl of steel-cut oats for the both of us, and that she could have it only after she’d eaten. She laughed and said she was on her way. |
