A GPS Navigation Will Come In Handy This Christmas |

This year for the holiday season, our family has decided to do something different. For years we have switched between each of our homes for the holiday festivities, but we decided since most of the kids are older that we would take a trip to the mountains this year. My husband actually came up with the idea, and I’ve been teasing him for weeks telling him that the only reason he did is so that he can get that GPS navigation system that he's been wanting. That isn't actually the case, or then again maybe it is, since my husband has wanted a GPS navigation system since we borrowed my brothers last year when we went on vacation. I'll be the first one to admit that the GPS navigation was great to have, since all we had to do was type in the information of the resort we were staying at and the GPS navigation did the rest.
This year, we have rented two cabins side-by-side that will sleep all 30 of us. I had never really thought about how large our family was until we started thinking about how many beds we would need and how many cabins. Luckily we were able to find really large cabins, so two was enough to fit everyone with a little space left over. It's going to be a great time for all of us, and I guess I really should consider ordering my husband the GPS navigation and giving it to him as an early Christmas present, since we're leaving for our trip on the 22nd. My brother said that he found some great deals on GPS navigation and actually bought his from Value Smart Mart, who can be found online at http://www.valuesmartmart.com/. I'll probably head over to the site sometime this week and more than likely I'll buy my husband the same GPS navigation that my brother has. I know my husband knows how to use it, and he likes it, so it is probably the best option for him. I am almost tempted to not give it to him before the trip, because I think he's actually expecting a GPS navigation this year, so I think it would be a whole lot more fun to make him think he wasn't getting it, and then give him some slippers as a gift at the cabin and follow it up with the GPS navigation. I think that's exactly what I'm going to do, so I can keep him guessing. |
